What the Badge Tells You

A verified badge means one specific thing: the profile has completed the verification process currently available on the platform — profile review, age-eligibility checks and ongoing moderation. It does not mean the platform vouches for everything that person will ever say or do. Treat it the way you'd treat a good first impression: meaningful, but not the whole story. How to Use Verification Well

• Prioritize, don't autopilot. Reach for verified profiles first when messaging or inviting someone to 1-on-1 video.
• Turn on the verified-only filter. When you want extra confidence, make the whole browse list verified.
• Keep your judgment switched on. Video itself is a great verifier — a live camera is hard to fake.
• Report what feels off. Badge or no badge, misleading behavior belongs in a report, not in your patience.
